This new timeshare resort is slated to open sometime this year, marking a great new addition to the Cocoa Beach area. The new resort is actually a renovation and rebranding of the existing Wakulla Suites, simply expanding upon an old property. However, Westgate is pumping $14 million into the renovations, giving the facility a much-needed upgrade and exciting new offerings.

The resort is scheduled to debut this summer, and will be transformed to include upscale two-bedroom condominium units to provide the spacious accommodations that families and large groups require. Also planned is a tropical water park with a lazy river and other enhanced swimming facilities.

#2. Margaritaville Vacation Club Orlando

Among all new timeshare resorts, this one has to be the biggest. The new Margaritaville Vacation Club has ambitious plans to expand its brand in the near future, and the brand new Orlando resort is the spearhead of that initiative. Encompassing 300 acres, this new mega-resort is estimated to cost up to $750 million dollars. In addition to standard hotel space, the resort will also bring nearly 200 new timeshare suites to the Orlando area.

While construction is still underway, the resort plans to open late this year. Some of it is already built—the property debuted newly-constructed cottages that will be available to timeshare owners once the facility opens. The resort will also include its own entertainment and dining district, water taxis, 200,000 square feet of retail space, and a 12-acre water park.

#3. Wyndham Ka ‘Eo Kai

While this one is technically an existing property, it was welcomed into the Wyndham Vacation Ownership network in late 2017. Starting in the beginning of 2018, members of the WorldMark and Wyndham programs will be able to reserve timeshare accommodations at the Kauai resort throughout the rest of 2018.

The resort is located in desirable Princeville, on the north side of the island. Boasting condo-style units with views of the ocean and the Makai Golf Club, the Ka ‘Eo Kai resort also features two swimming areas and a variety of other amazing on-site amenities. The resort also puts you close to some of the Garden Isle’s key attractions.

#4. Ventus at Marina El Cid

Though this resort opened in late 2017, 2018 will be the first year that many timeshare owners and exchangers will get to experience El Cid’s newest addition. Alongside the Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort, the Ventus is one of El Cid’s only Riviera Maya properties.
