Hilton Grand Vacations Shows Interest In The Crane Resort Barbados

The renowned vacation ownership brand and industry leader has just announced its desire to purchase The Crane Resort in St. Philips, Barbados, the oldest resort to exist in the Caribbean. Hilton Grand Vacations has pursued this impressive property in an effort to grow their portfolio of beachfront properties for their guests and owners to enjoy. This offering will be HGV’s first Caribbean timeshare and will be rebranded Hilton Grand Vacations at The Crane.

Since 1887, The Crane has provided guests with an exceptional vacationing experience on their over 40-acre, oceanfront property with access to one of the most desired beaches in the world. It’s accommodations have expanded over the years and includes The Crane Residences In The Park, The Crane Historic Residences, and The Crane Residences by The Sea. Guests can find a day spa, shopping, a fitness center, a kids’ club, rooftop terraces, several award-winning restaurants, gardens, and a breathtaking cascading cliff top pool. The resort offers timeshares through Crane Vacation Club, fractional ownership, and residential ownership where they provide spacious accommodations with multiple bedrooms, living areas, private patios, fully equipped kitchens, dining areas, and more.

If all goes well, Hilton Grand Vacations will begin acquiring The Crane’s one-, two-, and three-bedroom suite inventory in multiple stages from the resort’s developer and operator Millennium Investments over the next three years. They will likely begin sales starting as early as 4th quarter of 2018 and will begin to accept HGV Club member reservations starting in January 2019. This project is projected to cost $54.6 million.
