The site is straightforward; no hidden fees or unexpected issues. Your listing is posted and then you wait for traffic; SMTN alerts you if there is anyone interested. Staff... read more were very helpful and always replied in a timely manner. Don't expect a quick sale, nor to recoup your initial investment - but that is not on the site; it is just the market. Also, the sale itself (from initial offer to completion) can be very slow depending on the different countries between seller and buyer as not all the paperwork can be done digitally and therefore we must rely on the post in communicating back and forth. Again, not necessarily on the site, as I assume it's more to the legal processes. We did trust the professionals to have knowledge of the different timeshare companies' requirements for resale; and unfortunately ours was initially rejected, causing further delay, due to a small (yet large) issue with our timeshare requiring only one person/family on the sale as opposed to multiples.

You constantly see horror stories, but with SMTN I haven't had any negative experience. SMTN and its agents have always been upfront about the details, including costs and expected timelines to closure. They answer every question I ask over the course of the purchase. They've assisted me in negotiating the purchase price. I won't say you won't be anxious during the full process (it's a lot of money), but they are there to answer your questions and take any actions that you might require. Every one of my purchases (4) have completed successfully and I am using the Time Shares.
