David Sweet - Unica Corporation, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

David Sweet, is Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Unica Corporation (NASDAQ: UNCA), and is responsible for executing acquisitions, investments and strategic alliances that meet Unica's long-term strategic objectives.

Sweet brings over 20 years of management, operations and venture capital expertise to Unica. Prior to joining Unica, Sweet was a founding management team member of three technology start-ups where he was responsible for strategic planning, managing rapid growth, raising venture capital and completing business development relationships for revenue and strategic advantage. Most recently, he was co-founder and CEO of Swingtide. Previously, Sweet was co-founder and vice president of business development for Bowstreet and vice president of operations for Preferred Systems.

Sweet began his career as a venture capitalist at ChinaVest (Hong Kong) and TA Associates and holds a BA in International Relations from Lewis and Clark College.
