Chris Ownby - Chief Technology Officer

Chris Ownby is Sell My Timeshare NOW’s Chief Technology Officer. Previously with Sapling Systems, where he was CTO and Vice President of Product Development, Chris has also managed the development of Harcourt Assessment’s online platform, which provided formative and summative testing for the United States’ K through 12 education system. His professional experience includes working as Director of Application Development at CreditReport.com, the market leader in highly secure B2C and B2B online credit services, and founding the internet software development company, Trapdoor Net Systems.

Chris brings more than 20 years of experience in the software development industry to Sell My Timeshare NOW and a deep knowledge of agile software development processes, which he teaches and supports through local and national organizations. He frequently lectures and writes about the future of software, the industry, and the role of the internet and is currently writing a book on how to successfully run a software business.

Chris holds a BA from California State University at Fullerton. He relocated to New Hampshire from Texas.
