Hawaii Timeshare Strong in Timeshare Resale and Rental Market

DOVER, NH--(Nov 2, 2011) - Hawaii timeshare resales and rentals continue to dominate as the most popular vacation properties on the secondary market. When Sell My Timeshare NOW and Timeshare Broker Services published its lists of the most in-demand timeshare resales and rentals earlier this fall, three Hawaii timeshare resorts made the top ten on each list.

Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club in Oahu ranked as the number 2 most in-demand timeshare rental and the number 9 most in-demand timeshare resale. The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas in Maui took the number 3 spot in rentals and the number 5 spot in resales while Marriott's Maui Ocean Club was number 6 in popularity for timeshare rentals and number 3 among the top timeshare resales.

This year, for the first time, we broke it down by rentals and resales recognizing that they may be of interest to different demographics of consumers. These lists offer true consumer review. Although beach vacation destinations dominated both lists, no single location, including Florida or the Caribbean, ranked as dominantly as did Hawaii timeshares.
