About SVC Americana Ownership

Shell Owners Club — Americana is one of four "Home Clubs" within Shell Vacations Club. To become a member of SVC, new buyers can purchase a points package within Shell Owners Club Americana or one of the other Home Clubs. Alternately, vacationers can rent points or reserved weeks from current owners to enjoy any of the SVC resorts.

Each Home Club, including Shell Owners Club Americana, features a unique set of Shell Vacations Resorts at which Home Club members receive priority reservation rights. You can request reservations for a seven night stay as far in advance as 365 days (about 1 year) to 277 days (about 9 months) before your check-in date. Once the priority reservation period has passed (up to 276 days in advance of your desired check-in date), reservations of 2 nights or more can be made at ANY of the 24 Shell Vacations Resorts.

How the points-system works:

As a Shell Owners Club Americana member, you receive an annual allotment of SVC Points at the start of each "use year". You must have a minimum of 1,500 points to qualify for SVC membership.
Every night at each Shell Vacations Club Resort is assigned a points value based on season, size of unit, and a variety of other factors.
You use your points like currency to reserve the vacation you want.

Shell Owners Club Americana memberships (including those sold on the resale market) also include the following perks:

An annual membership with Interval International giving you access to an additional 2,600 resorts through external exchange.
SVC Collections is a program allows you to use your points for other travel necessities and experiences including flights, dining and more.
SVC Premium Perks are services offered only to Shell Vacations owners including low-cost travel insurance and an SVC Rewards credit card.
