SVC Hawaii Points and Memberships

The Shell Owners Club Hawaii is a points-based membership club that provides access to Shell Vacations’ wonderful collection of Hawaiian timeshare resorts. Vacationers not interested in ownership can find rental points or rent reserved weeks from current owners to enjoy the Americana resorts.

Members of SVC Hawaii receive priority reservation rights at the following resorts:

Paniolo Greens (Waikoloa, HI)
Waikiki Marina Resort at the Ilikai (Honolulu, HI)
Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy (Kappa, HI)
Kona Coast Resort (Kailua-Kona, HI)
Kona Coast Resort II (Kailua-Kona, HI)
Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village (Kailua-Kona, HI)

In addition, individuals with a Shell Owners Club Hawaii membership enjoy complimentary membership in Shell Vacations Club, allowing them to use their points to reserve time at ANY other Shell Vacations Resort once the priority reservation period has passed.

How the points-system works:

As a Shell Owners Club Hawaii member, you receive an annual allotment of SVC Points at the start of each "use year". The minimum membership level is currently 1,500 points.
Every night at each Shell Vacations Club Resort is assigned a points value based on season, size of unit, and a variety of other factors.
You use your points like currency to reserve your desired accommodations and destination.
During the priority reservation period, you can request reservations for a seven night stay as far in advance as 365 days (about 1 year) to 277 days (about 9 months) before your check-in date.
After the priority reservation period you can request reservations for a stay of 2 nights or more at any Shell Vacations Resort (starting at 276 days in advance of your desired check-in date).

Shell Owners Club Hawaii memberships (including those sold on the resale market) also include the following perks:

An annual membership with Interval International.
SVC Collections which allows you to use your points for travel benefits like flights, activities and rental cars.
SVC Premium Perks are services offered only to Shell Vacations owners.
