"I started skiing at Aspen in 1959, but now my Doctor says I need to stop. My wife and I were skiing at Loon before we were married, both of our girls learned to ski here and are experts. We have skied Maine, Vermont, Idaho, Colorado, Italy, France and Switzerland and they are great, but for a family resort, you cannot beat Loon. We always bring another family ("lock-outs" are great), plan our skiing in the morning looking at the mountain from the huge windows. Lincoln is a great ski town and is where we have purchased most of our equipment. We love The Common Man restaurant, the bus drivers that take you across the street to the mountain are often classic New Hampshire characters, steam rooms, multiple hot swimming pools, you can't go wrong. As this is floating Red time, you can pick when you want to go.
