The busy town centre of Los Cristianos is closed to traffic and pedestrian walks are bright, with dozens of open air restaurants and bars. Los Cristianos is the prime shopping centre for the south of Tenerife with a large selection of shops which cater to everyone in this Duty Free Island. It's worth noting that every Sunday there is a large market offering everything from watches and jewelry to clothes and music. The main beach in Los Cristianos is sheltered by the harbour and has calm waters and soft yellow sands, inviting you to swim or take a trip on a pedaloe. Las Vistas Beach, located on the next bay, and just five minutes from the town centre, is one of the finest in Tenerife, with excellent facilities and breakwaters sheltering the golden sand beach.
