The narrowboats at Alvecote Marina are located on the Coventry Canal 4 miles from the town of Tamworth! From the marina you can cruise to Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham or Stoke on Trent within a week. Tamworth has attractions for all ages including Tamworth Castle and the Snowdome, Europe's only year-round ski slope with real snow. This is an activity holiday, where guests have sole charge of the boat. For cruising purposes guests must be fit and able-bodied, and comply with the minimum occupancy policy.
