When you own a vacation week at Barrier Island Station you not only get a top-notch condominium but you also own two units in one! Each of the units occupy an entire floor of a building and consist of two separate, fully equipped condos, connected by both an interior door and individual outside entrances. The flexibility is incredible! The owners often use one side for vacation, and trade or rent the other. Some of the owners even trade both sides for two weeks at other resorts! But if space is what you need, use both units with the added benefit of two kitchens and two living-rooms. Close the connecting door and enjoy a little privacy away from the crowd! Isn't life great!! It's the newest of Barrier Island Realty's Beach Resorts, designed to deliver the ultimate vacation experience. The resort is located among 100 acres of pristine Maritime Forest that adjoins almost 700 acres of wildlife preserve. Both the resort and the preserve are home to all types of waterfowl, deer, fox and raccoons. The area is considered by nature lovers as "paradise on earth". The forest is robust with vegetation ranging from fern, cypress knees to hundred-year-old holly, hickory and oak trees. This wonderful tranquil setting is surrounded by the beautiful beaches and sounds of North Carolina's Outer Banks.

The RECREATIONAL AREA also includes a large GAZEBO with RESTROOMS, SHOWERS, CHANGING FACILITIES, GAMES ROOM and a SNACK BAR for convenience. Owners boast at the close proximity of the amenities. There is a full-time RECREATIONAL DIRECTOR on site year round that offers PLANNED ACTIVITIES FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. LAUNDRY FACILITIES and PLAYGROUND area are also on-site. The Resorts BARRIER ISLAND FUN AND FITNESS CENTER is the largest, most complete workout facility on the Outer Banks.
