Activities near Cocoa Beach include golf, fishing, cycling, boating, scuba diving, and sailing. KISSIMMEE: Kissimmee is within a half hour drive of Disney World, which consists of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, MGM-Disney Studios, Animal Kingdom and lesser water or theme parks. Other Orlando area attractions include Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet 'n Wild, Gatorland, Cypress Gardens, Silver Springs (north of Orlando), Jungleland in Kissimmee, Church Street Station, Horse World, Lake Toho, Boardwalk and Baseball and Busch Gardens in Tampa. Nearby activities include golf, boating, fishing, horseback riding, jogging, softball, handball, and bocci. KAUAI: Kauai is known for beautiful beaches, lavarock grottoes, waterfalls and its greenery which gives it the name the *Garden Isle.* Helicopter tours are available. Other Kauai attractions include Waimea Canyon, Wailua Falls, the Olu Pua Gardens, the Holo-Holo-Ku Heiau (an ancient sacrificial altar) the Menehune Fishpond, Coco Palms beaches, Hanalei Bay, Poipu Beach, Lumahai Beach and the rugged north coast, where the movie *South Pacific* was filmed. Nearby activities include fishing, deep-sea charters, golf, hiking, horseback riding, nightlife, water skiing, windsurfing, and snorkling. Some Kauai beaches are good for surfing. GATLINBURG: Near Gatlinburg, Dollywood Amusement Park, Pigeon Forge. Some units in town or close to Gatlinburg, others located on Mount Harrison. Winter sports a few weeks out of the year; near tram area that goes to Obergatlinburg, Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, quaint shops in Gatlinburg, water park and rides, trolley tours, outlet malls in Pigeon Forge. Hiking, camping, fishing, golf, miniature golf, cycling, rafting, horseback riding and other activities are nearby. Seasonal activities include the winterfest and Christmas and January light shows, craftsmen's and antique fairs, and of course the changing of the leaves in the fall. GREAT BARRINGTON: The resort is situated in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. Nearby attractions include Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Norman Rockwell Museum and the shops and galleries of Stockbridge. Nearby activities include snow skiing at such resorts as Butternut Basin or Catamount, hiking, fishing, boating, golfing, dining and tennis. Colored leaves in the fall are spectacular!
