The Manor Court cottages were created from the Manor House Estate stables, and the character of the original granite buildings has been preserved. Fifteen cottages have been formed, mostly around the original cobbled courtyard, and two units in the former estate manager's house. The restraints of the conversion resulted in a range of different layouts. All the cottages are furnished to complement the relaxing atmosphere greatly appreciated at Manor Court. The cottages vary in size from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms. Each Lodge, built of granite under a slate roof, is spacious and airy, designed and decorated to an exciting specification with superb oak beamed cathedral ceilings and imposing granite fireplaces.

Resort Information - Manor Court Club

*Manor Court* is in the grounds of Bovey Castle, a very exclusive Hotel and restaurant. It is not open to the general public and only available to Manor Court and RCI Guests by prior booking. There is an excellent choice of good restaurants in the surrounding villages. The resort is ideally located to explore Dartmoor, with Exeter and Plymouth within a 30 minutes' drive. Manor Court is essentially a small exclusive golf resort; concessionary green fees are available for 2 named persons per cottage, current club handicaps must be produced, and the resort must be informed at least one week prior if you wish to play.

Bovey Castle (previously The Manor House Hotel) was bought in 2003 by the well known entrepreneur Peter de Savary of Skibo Castle fame. The Hotel and its grounds were upgraded, almost regardless of cost, to 5 star plus standards in 2004. This is immediately apparent on driving into the Estate; into a different world of immaculate fairways, greens and landscaping rarely found on this side of the Atlantic.
