Surrounding the Fort is Depuy Village, the second village built at Shawnee as timesharing grew in the late 1970’s. The distinctive feature of Depuy village is the “salt box” style, two-story floor plans. The historic Shawnee Inn is just a ten-minute walk from Depuy Village.
