APVC resort, Novotel Vines Resort Swan Valley - Swan Valley, (also known as the Vines Resort & Country Club) is Western Australia’s premier resort golf course. The 2006 Johnnie Walker Classic was played over the 18 holes of The Lakes Course, however the 2009 Johnnie Walker Classic will be played over a composite course of Ellenbrook and The Lakes. Both courses feature greens that are amongst the largest and most undulating in the world.

The 2009 JOHNNIE WALKER CLASSIC will be contested by 156 players, with the field reduced to the top 65 and those tied for 65th place after the second round. All four days will be covered live by TV with the action being broadcast in over 45 countries around the world.
