Costa Vida Vallarta is a low key, casual place, where it is easy to make friends, join in a game of dominoes or cards, or take off to town for some wonderful restaurants and nightlife. There is a bus that picks up/drops of right out side the resort, even in the evenings. The staff at CVV is fabulous. Depending on the time of day and conditions of the water, some excellent snorkeling can be found on the north end of CVV's beach. You can see huge schools of fish and even sting rays here. The suite balconies face out directly over the ocean and the views of the setting sun are incredible. The summer thunderstorms are fantastic! Unbelievable lightning and rain during the evening ~ as superb a light shows you've never seen! Also, for those visiting Puerto Vallarta in the summer, it is cooler by about 10 degrees out at Costa Vida than it is town. It is also much greener and more tropical than resorts farther north in the Neuvo Vallarta area.
