Resort Information - Roundhouse Resort

Noted for its beautiful scenery and historic sites, the Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona's White Mountains is the quiet, relaxed setting for Roundhouse Resort. Grand Canyon National Park, Petrified Forest National Park, and the Painted Desert are less than a five-hour drive away. The resort's recreation center boasts an indoor pool, whirlpool, and racquetball court. Sunrise ski area, about 25 miles from the resort, offers 60 trails and vertical drops of 1,800 feet. In warmer months, enjoy trout fishing, tennis, hiking, and horseback riding. The golf course is closed in winter months.

The Recreation Center has the largest heated indoor pool on the Mogollon Rim, a large whirlpool, weight room, an indoor racquetball court, an indoor half-court basketball court, pool tables, and ping-pong. Laundry facilities and a movie theater are also on-site. A computer is available in the Lodge which provides Internet and E-mail access for a small fee. A large selection of cards, games, jigsaw puzzles, and books are available upon request from the Front Desk. Late Release Videos are available for rent at $2.00 per day; VCRs are in all rooms. DVD/CD players may also be rented. Special guest activities such as horseshoe tournaments, barbeque lunches, and holiday events vary with the season. Guests are informed as they check-in. During the summer season there are craft and game days. Check with the Front Desk for current activities, dates and times.
