As a VRI owner, you can exchange your vacation week for any other RCI affiliated timeshare—even a different week and location than what you currently own. There are just three simple steps to follow to exchange your timeshare.
- Deposit Your Week—Just like with VRI exchange, the earlier you deposit the week, the more options you will have. You can deposit as early as 2 years before, all the way up to 14 days before the start of your vacation week.
- Request Your Week and Resort—After depositing, you can contact RCI and request your preferred weeks and destinations. Giving more than one option ensures you are more likely to get your desired destination.
- Confirm Your Exchange—Confirmation can occur upon requesting your destination if it is available. If not, you will be notified as soon as a match for your request is found.
As an RCI member, you can also purchase Points at a resort, or convert your week into Points for more flexibility. RCI Points allow you to choose where and when you travel, for how long, and give you access to an assortment of travel services.
