Disney Releases Rendered Images of Future Grand Floridian Villas Rooms

The night before the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Vacation Club shared its first-look images of its upcoming Grand Floridian renovations. This favorite will welcome DVC resort guests to enjoy the new and upgraded villas sometime in summer 2022.

Renovations to the Grand Floridian DVC units will include upgrades to its existing deluxe studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas, and an expansion of 200 new studio villas. Together, these improvements will provide even more families the opportunity to experience everything that Disney has to offer.

Disney’s Grand Floridian is an elegant resort inspired by 1890s Victorian architecture. From the moment guests arrive, they are immersed in this old-world experience. The new studio villas will sleep up to five guests with two queen beds and a comfortable day bed. The colors and finishes will reflect the luxurious style of the resort and complement the existing rooms and common areas.

The existing villas will receive some finishes and color refreshes which will breathe new life into the already beloved property. The deluxe studio villas will feature a queen bed, a murphy bed, and a pull-down bunk-size bed. The one- and two-bedroom villas will see new queen-size murphy beds and a pull-down, bunk-size bed that stores under the media console.
