New Villas to Open at Popular Disney Vacation Club Resort

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has announced that Disney’s Polynesian Resort will be expanding with a new tower of luxury villas for members to enjoy.

The villas will be located along the Seven Seas Lagoon and are scheduled to open in late 2024. Like the rest of the Lake Buena Vista, FL property, the new villas will be modeled after the original Polynesian Village, celebrating the spirit of the South Pacific with plenty of tropical-themed decor and furnishings. The design of the tower will pay homage to the popular “Spirit of Aloha” resort dinner show that will not be returning.

In addition to the new villas, the tower will offer additional dining options and recreational amenities.

Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, commented:

“It’s no secret that our Members and Guests love the monorail resorts at Walt Disney World. Expanding our Disney Vacation Club offerings at the Polynesian would give our Members and Guests yet another incredible option for staying close to the magic while making vacation memories that last a lifetime.”
