Boating, fishing, water skiing, nature cruising to see moose, deer and bear, bald eagles are an everyday sight ~ plus the mountains are breath taking. One mountain, (Mt. Kineo), elevates up through the middle of Moosehead Lake. There you may golf, hike, climb, fish, sight see and much more. You need a boat to get there or take the Kineo shuttle from the Rockwook public landing and pier. In the spring, the anglers have the best Salmon and trout fishing right at the estate. In the fall we get many leaf peepers and riding the chair lift in the fall is absolutely the most beautiful sight you will ever remember. Summer is of course summer on a very large lake, not crowded and so peaceful. The biggest problem with Moosehead area is being all by yourself most of the time.
