Disney Vacation Club Resorts 2023-2024 Renovations Schedule

The iconic Disney Vacation Club has just released its latest renovation and construction timelines for Disney Vacation Club resorts for 2023-2024 at its annual Condominium Association Meeting.

Disney often completes small and large-scale renovation projects across its resorts. Smaller projects are often referred to as “soft goods refurbishment” where items like some furniture, flooring, wall coverings, linens, and decor are updated. In recent years, soft goods refurbishment has also included some new room additions like the Inova pull-down sofa bed and couch combo in place of the traditional pull-out sofa bed.

With the COVID-19 pandemic slowing down their typical renovation schedule, DVC owners will be happy to hear about what’s to come at many of their favorite properties:

2023 Disney Resort Updates

Villas at Disneyland Hotel— With construction well underway, this new DVC tower is located directly next to Frontierland Tower and Goofy’s Kitchen. This build will add 350 new rooms to DVC’s Disneyland offerings.

Boulder Springs Villas— Delayed due to COVID-19, the Boulder Springs Villas are set to receive a highly anticipated facelift. The first set of rooms getting a soft goods refurbishment are wrapping up and will reopen soon. The refurbishment is expected to be complete in the Spring of 2023.

BoardWalk Villas— With the announcement earlier in 2022 that the BoardWalk Villas will be “reimagined” over the next several years, some changes have already been made. So far, the property has seen changes to the lobby, a nearby coffee bar, guest rooms, and a new Cake Bake restaurant to replace the EPSN Club (opening in 2023). DVC villas will also receive a full refurbishment in 2023.

Beach Club Villas— Although the Beach Club Villas have received refurbishments in recent years, the DVC team will be revisiting these rooms to make improvements to their function and design in 2023.

Hilton Head Island Resort— DVC rooms are to receive a soft goods refurbishment at some point in 2023. No details or concepts were unveiled at the Condo Association Meeting.

Vero Beach Resort— DVC rooms are to receive a soft goods refurbishment at some point in 2023. No details or concepts were unveiled at the Condo Association Meeting.

2024 Disney Resort Updates

Polynesian Village Resort Villas— The construction of this new DVC tower has been ongoing for several months. Construction crews have begun to lay the foundation for the new building, which will live between the Polynesian longhouses and the Wedding Pavilion near the Grand Floridian. This tower is anticipated to open in late 2024.

Bay Lake Tower at Contemporary Resort— Bay Lake Tower will receive a full refurbishment in 2024. No details or concepts were unveiled at the Condo Association Meeting.
