The company saw a total of $260 million in buyer offers in 2013, almost three times that of their closest competitor’s published performance.

Vacation Innovations recently soft-launched, a rapidly growing online booking engine exclusive to upscale timeshare vacation stays. The site places individual timeshare owner inventory into a highly discounted rental environment that’s not bound by the price parity constraints or “best price guarantee” commitments of other online travel providers.

Previous to the site’s arrival, timeshare rental involved a cumbersome 3-part process: (1) submitting an offer on a rental advertisement directly to the owner, (2) waiting extended periods for the manual process of an owner submitting, reviewing, and verifying with its resort and (3) often responding to an offer only to discover it took too long and the purchaser had moved on. The site offers users a book-it-now experience at extremely competitive rates up to 60% less per night than rates offered by direct bookings at the same resort or online travel agencies. Resorts available on the site average 500 more square feet of space than a traditional hotel room and typically offer access to specialty resort amenities like lazy river complexes, golf courses and other features. All timeshare rentals are also verified, pre-reserved and secured, giving renters the assurance of knowing the specifications and dates of the villa they reserve will be up to their expectations.
