When you spend a week in Aruba, you’ll find a surprising amount of things to do on the small island. Learn how to make the most of your week at your timeshare in Aruba, and don’t miss out on the best the island country has to offer!

Day 1: Arrive and Relax

When you arrive in Aruba, get ready for your week of fun by pampering yourself at one of the local spas. Enjoy a massage and a meal catered by a private butler at the Okeanos Spa at Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, or try a rejuvenating body wrap at Vita Novus Spa at Riu Palace Aruba. Starting your vacation with a spa visit will relax you and allow you to enjoy the rest of your week stress-free.

Day 2: Beach Adventures

Aruba is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, so spend some of your vacation time relaxing on white sand and enjoying the turquoise Caribbean waters. Many Aruba timeshare resorts offer private beach access, or you can visit one of the public beaches around the island. Eagle Beach is extremely popular for its beautiful views and turtle nests. Watch young turtles hatch and find their way to the ocean each year here. If you prefer a more active beach experience, head to Palm Beach. Here, the waters are calm, so you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. Take a boat out on the waters for diving and boating opportunities, or spend your time relaxing on the shores. A beach day is a perfect day in Aruba.

Day 3: Casino and Shopping Indulgences

Enjoy visiting the casinos of Aruba for fun gaming and excitement. Head to the 24-hour Stellaris Casino at Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club for high-roller games as well as hundreds of slot machines. If you’re looking for a fun and friendly casino experience, check out the Alhambra Casino for free table game lessons and daily specials to maximize your winnings.

After you’ve hit it big at the casino, indulge yourself with a shopping trip. Aruba is home to some of the best luxury shops in the world, and you can find plenty of duty-free clothes, jewelry, and other luxuries. Check out the elite malls and upscale boutiques, or head into towns like Oranjestad to find unique local marketplaces. A single shopping trip in Aruba can bring you deluxe finds such as designer clothing and handmade local crafts.

Day 4: Explore History and Museums

Aruba’s cultural history is unique and interesting, and it’s worth a look during your vacation. Explore museums and historical sites to learn about the history of this one-of-a-kind country and discover the rich diversity of the past. Visit the Museum of Antiquities to see and buy historic treasures such as furniture, statues, and porcelain. Check out the Aruba Aloe Museum and Factory to learn about the history of the aloe vera plant in Aruba and see how the plant’s essence is extracted for skin care products. Visit historical Fort Zoutman to experience Aruba’s history as a trade harbor for European and South American countries. You’re sure to learn something new no matter where you go.

Day 5: Something For the Kids

Don’t forget to include the kids during your vacation! While most Aruba timeshare resorts offer kids clubs and activities like Cabana Nanas at La Cabana Beach and Racquet Club, devote this day to discovering kid-friendly activities outside your resort. Take the kids to the Butterfly Farm for a walk through a tropical garden filled with colorful butterflies. Visit the Donkey Sanctuary to pet and feed the native donkeys. Take a tour of the Aruba Ostrich Farm to see and feed ostriches and emus. Kids are sure to have a great day visiting these local animals on their vacation!

Day 6: Outdoor Activities

There’s so much to do outdoors in Aruba. You can spend your time at the beach or on the water trying exciting activities such as kitesurfing, kayaking, fishing, and parasailing. Your timeshare resort will most likely offer some exciting adventures for you to try as well. If you’d rather stay on land, you can still find plenty of unique things to try. Hike through rugged trails in Arikok National Park, or climb down into Fontein Cave to see cave drawings of Arawak Indians. Take a Jeep, bike, or horseback tour of the island to discover all the amazing sights and attractions. Hike to the Natural Pool in one of the most secluded areas in Aruba and discover a breathtaking view you won’t reach by car.

Day 7: Golfing Experiences

On your last day in Aruba, make sure you check out the beautiful golf courses on the island. Head to Tierra del Sol for a challenging championship course with an unparalleled view. The course is designed to celebrate Aruba’s wildlife, so you’re sure to enjoy the natural beauty around you as much as the game. Visit Aruba Golf Club to try the oldest golf course in the country. This desert course is unique for its oiled sand greens and the wild goats that roam around the course. If you can play the Aruba Golf Club, you can play anywhere!
