Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic Events Return!

After two years, the Disney Vacation Club Moonlight Magic events are coming back to Walt Disney World! These popular after-hour events are incredibly popular with DVC members, giving them the opportunity to stay late at their favorite parks for some nighttime fun.

With these after-hour events, members can enjoy unique character sightings, special entertainment, shorter wait times for rides, and free food.

Moonlight Magic Events Schedule

Following the announcement of Moonlight Magic returning, the schedule was released. Here are the current event dates so you can plan your Disney Vacation Club accordingly. Find Moonlight Magic at a number of your favorite Walt Disney World parks in Orlando, Florida.

• EPCOT – March 17 and March 31, 2022
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios – May 24, June 16, and July 14, 2022
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom – July 26 and August 31, 2022

There are currently no dates or information regarding Moonlight Magic events at Magic Kingdom or any of the Disney water parks, though it is likely that Magic Kingdom will have dates in September and October for this year.

Moonlight Magic Reservation Information

Disney Vacation Club members with a hotel reservation at a Disney resort during one of the event dates will get first access to register for Moonlight Magic through an email going out on February 22. This will allow members to register for the EPCOT events.

Members without current hotel reservations can register for the EPCOT events on March 8, 2022. You can reserve for yourself and up to four guests. Children younger than three years old do not need to be registered.

The registration window for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom events has not yet been released.

Things to Note

Face covering requirements have been updated and will be in place for the Moonlight Magic events. Masks are now optional for fully vaccinated guests in both indoor and outdoor locations. This rule goes into effect Thursday, February 17.

If a DVC member has more than one resort reservation, additional party size rules apply:

• Using Vacation Points or Reservation Points – Members can register themselves plus the number of individuals on their resort reservation
• Using cash, Interval International points, or RCI points – Members can register themselves plus up to the number of individuals staying in the same room as the member (per membership)

Member services can not help with cancellations or changes to Moonlight Magic reservations. Instead, members can modify their event registration through the link in the confirmation email.
