Hyatt Residence Club Dorado Hacienda del Mar is Officially Reopened

The team at Hyatt Residence Club Dorado Hacienda del Mar and the Hyatt brand have been working tirelessly for over three years to bring back guests to its popular oceanfront Puerto Rico location since September 2017 when the resort was closed due to the damages sustained by both Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria. Construction was delayed in early 2020 by the COVID-19 pandemic, pushing back the original, anticipated opening in May 2020. Fortunately, the crews continued forward to the best of their abilities and welcomed back guests on December 19, 2020.

The Hyatt Hacienda del Mar construction teams were able to revitalize the property with a number of new upgrades. Most notably, they are sharing their excitement for their updated villa designs with new furniture, new appliances, and improved shower experiences.

General Manager Gabriel Olvera was thrilled to discuss the reopening:
