Enhanced COVID-19 Testing and Safety Protocols Allow Viva Wyndham Resorts to Bring Back Some Guest Activities

Viva Wyndham has announced the relaunch of some of its suspended resort guest activities across all properties in the Bahamas, Mexico, and Dominican Republic thanks to its recently enhanced COVID-19 testing abilities and safety protocols. In collaboration with different testing providers to secure reliable service and competitive prices, this Wyndham brand now offers on-site COVID-19 testing for their guests’ convenience and peace of mind.

Revived Viva Wyndham Activities

Depending on the resort, guests could have access to a number of ‘new’ activities designed for individuals as well as those who travel in groups. Some of the activities include:

• Beach volleyball
• Water aerobics
• Water polo
• Tennis
• Introductory diving lessons
• Paddle boarding
• Wind surfing
• Trapeze lessons (Viva Wyndham Maya)

In addition to expanded testing availability, Viva Wyndham Resorts have followed strict safety guidelines on their properties since the COVID-19 pandemic began with their ‘SAFE WITH VIVA’ program. This program was designed to offer the highest standards of health and hygiene protocols for its guests. The measures of safety include extensive employee training, 24/7 medical staff access, hygiene checks, controlled resort capacity, flexible cancellation policies, temperature checks, social distancing protocols, protective face coverings, hand sanitizer availability, as well as frequent cleaning and sanitization throughout the day.

One very notable feature of ‘SAFE WITH VIVA’ is the brand’s offering of free Hotel Assist Insurance meant to protect travelers who visit any of their locations with medical and travel insurance coverage.
