DVC World Passport Collection
When you purchase a Disney Vacation Club timeshare resale, you have limited access to Disney’s Member Getaways program, which can be a significant deterrent for those who are considering a timeshare resale.
However, there is a way to vacation in more places than just those in that specific network. The sole collection that resale owners can access through Disney is the World Passport Collection (WPC), which enables vacationers to book accommodations at other resorts worldwide. These are sometimes referred to as out of network reservations.
Making a WPC Reservation
Out-of-network DVC reservations work a bit differently than in-network reservations. Disney’s World Passport Collection consists of resorts from partner brands such as Club Intrawest and Club Cordial, as well as other resorts in the RCI network. Because of this, each method has different reservation processes.

Using Your DVC Points with RCI
As a DVC member, you can book vacations through RCI in a number of different ways. The process for booking through the Disney World Passport Collection is outlined below:
- Using the World Passport Collection through RCI, you can book nightly or weekly stays.
- Choose between over over 100 resorts for nightly stays and can book 10 months to 48 hours prior to your desired check-in date.
- Week-long vacations can be booked as far in advance as 2 years before your check-in date, or as last-minute as 24 hours before.
- When booking week-long stays, your options expand to include 16 that are classified as Signature Selections Exchanges.
Another way to process a DVC exchange is to use RCI's traditional timeshare exchange program. DVC owners can deposit their timeshare with RCI, and use their trading power to explore similar accommodations worldwide.
Changing and Canceling WPC Reservations
Canceling or changing a RCI or Club Intrawest reservation made through the World Passport program incurs a $95 fee, regardless of the date on which you cancel or change your reservation. Depending on when you change or cancel your reservation, your points may be lost or recouped. Please contact Disney's Member Services for more information specific to each exchange company.
Generally, if you cancel more than 30 days before your check-in date, your points will not be lost.
