Guaranteed Access for Presidential Reserve Members—Those who purchase with Club Wyndham Presidential Reserve can actually book up to 14 months in advance at their home resort.
Club Wyndham Reservations
When you buy a Club Wyndham timeshare, you'll receive a yearly allotment of points to use towards your vacations. These points act as a form of currency and can be used to book a trip at almost any Club Wyndham resort (depending upon ownership details). The basic Wyndham membership level is known as Club Wyndham Plus. As you acquire more points, you will move up to Club Wyndham Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels, allowing you to book more vacations at more popular resorts.
At the beginning of each year, you will receive your points and have 12 months to use them. See below to learn more about making Club Wyndham Plus reservations. If you have any questions, call our customer care team at 1-877-815-4227. You can also browse our Wyndham timeshares for sale.

When to Make Wyndham Reservations
Advance Reservation Priority (ARP)
With Advance Reservation Priority, you can book your vacation 10-13 months before your desired check-in date. Members can book using ARP only at their home resort and using Regular Use Year Points. During this time, reservations are available for 3, 4, and 7 day vacations.
ARP is available for members of:
-
Club Wyndham Select
-
Club Wyndham Access
-
Club Wyndham Presidential Reserve
Standard Reservations
The standard Wyndham reservation period allows you to book your vacation 3-10 months prior to your desired check-in date. During Prime seasons, you can only book a 3, 4, or 7 night trip. However, during off-peak seasons, you can book as little as 2 nights at a time. Club Wyndham point charts will tell you if your desired travel dates are during a Prime season.
-
More popular dates such as summer and holiday weeks will book fast, so try to book as far in advance as possible.
-
During the Standard Reservation period, if you do not have enough points for your desired reservation, you also have the option to purchase additional, one-time use points.
-
For example, if you only have enough points for a 3-night reservation, but desire a 7-night booking, you can pay a fee to use additional points.
Express Reservations
-
Any reservation made within 90 days of your check-in date is known as a Club Wyndham express reservation.
-
This provides the chance to take a last minute vacation or a quick weekend getaway.
-
Express reservations can also come in handy for business trips.
-
Typically, you can book an express reservation for as little as 2 days.
-
Double check your desired resort's points charts to learn if a longer stay is required.
Specific express reservation rules may vary by ownership type or home resort, so be sure to verify this information before purchasing a timeshare resale.
Making Your Wyndham Reservation
In order to book a reservation, you'll need a reservation credit. Every year, you'll receive 1 Reservation Transaction credit for every 77,000 points that you own. However, you have the option to purchase additional Reservation Transaction credits when making your reservation by phone. A reservation credit is also required for depositing points into external exchange, Wyndham "adventures", VIP upgrades, cruising with Club Wyndham Plus, and converting points to Maintenance Dollars.
Additional Reservation Information
Making reservations within Club Wyndham doesn't stop at just reservation types. There are several other instances both current and prospective Wyndham timeshare owners should know before booking their trips within the club.
Review the specific instance below to learn more about making Wyndham timeshare reservations, and how these rules might affect your potential vacation ownership.
Members with Biennial Timeshare Ownership
Wyndham also provides the chance to purchase a biennial timeshare, also known as every-other-year usage. For biennial members, you will receive your points allotment every other year and this will be known as your "use year." The 12 month use year period runs from January 1st through December 31st. Depending upon your ownership, your use year will always be an odd year or an even year. If you don't intend to travel every year, a biennial ownership can be a great alternative to a traditional membership.
Renting Points
If you require extra Club Wyndham points to book your desired reservation, you have the ability to rent extra points from Wyndham. Typically, the points will run about $8-10 per 1,000 points. Booking online can help you save a bit on rented points.
Each year, Wyndham will allow you to rent up to your annual point allocation. For example, if you typically receive 300,000 points per year, you can also rent up to 300,000 points per year. Read more about renting Wyndham points.
Points Credit Pool (a.k.a. Banking Points)
If you are unable to use your Club Wyndham points, or even a portion of your points, you have the option to deposit them into the "Points Credit Pool." This allows you to reserve your points for future use. You may use these points for an additional 3 years. Please note that there is a small charge to deposit your points into the pool, and you may only use these points for reservations during the standard and express reservation periods.
Guest Confirmations
Club Wyndham Plus also provides the option to book an additional room for friends and family members. Booking for friends and family is called a "guest confirmation." The number of guest confirmations you can use each Use Year will depend upon your level of ownership. You can purchase additional guest confirmations for as low as $99 when booking online.
