HGVC Points vs. HHonors Points
Some current or prospective timeshare owners may not realize the difference between HGVC points and HHonors points. HGVC points exist solely within the Hilton Grand Vacations Club, and are available only to members to spend on vacations. HHonors points are available to anyone and are earned by staying at Hilton hotels and resorts.
HGVC members can convert their extra HGVC points to HHonors points, however, you cannot convert HHonors points to HGVC points.
Hilton Honors Points Levels
The HHonors loyalty program is organized by four levels. As you accrue more HHonors points, you can advance through the levels and earn more lucrative benefits and exclusive perks. The levels are organized into four major categories—Blue, Silver Elite, Gold Elite, and Diamond Elite.
Each level comes with its own set of perks and privileges, allowing you to reap rewards as you vacation. The more you use your HGVC timeshare and check-in to Hilton-affiliated properties, the more points you'll earn—this can advance you through the HHonors program, giving you an increasing amount of benefits. As you'll likely be vacationing with your Hilton timeshare every year, you may find that you'll be inducted into new levels faster than you think.
