Situated in St. George, the breathtaking beachfront property of St. Regis Bermuda has officially opened. As the first luxury Marriott property in Bermuda, it has set the tone for the future with impressive finishes, unmatched in-room and on-site amenities, and design inspiration from Bermudian influences.
Vice President and Global Brand Leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts was thrilled to discuss the resort’s debut:
“Bermuda has long served as an exclusive destination for the global luminaries, making it the ideal location to debut a glamorous new St Regis resort. Much like the island, St Regis is steeped in rich history, offering a storied past and exciting future. The St Regis brand’s founding family, the Astors, spent time on this beautiful island more than a century ago. Now, the House of Astor’s celebrated traditions and rituals will bring this visionary spirit, avant-garde style, and impeccable service back to Bermuda where our address is your muse.”
St. Regis’ Bermuda’s General Manager Jan Vanhaelewyn stated that the resort “promised to be an enchanted beachfront oasis for guests and local luminaries alike,” and it does not disappoint. With architecture and interiors designed by award-winning firm OBMI, this resort has created the perfect combination of St. Regis’ signature, lavish look with Bermudian inspiration and experimental styles to create a serene and opulent experience from the moment guests enter the property.
The resort boasts of 120 guest rooms which includes 21 suites as well as two- and three-bedroom residences. These units include amenities like soaking tubs, large TVs, sitting areas, various bedding options, private balconies, and ocean views. Guests will love the neutral color palettes and finishes used throughout the accommodations as they reflect the local culture and materials found in Bermuda with an avant-garde twist.
On-site, visitors can enjoy access to beloved and pristine St. Catherine’s Beach, the adult and family pool options, the incredible St. Regis Spa, the St. Regis Children’s Club, the 18-hole Five Forts Golf Course, a 24-hour fitness center, and the first St. Regis-branded casino which is slated to open later in 2021.
