Wyndham Expands Further Into Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island

In recent months, the Wyndham brand has made big strides to expand its presence in Asia, which includes their newest purchase of an additional 83 villas at Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island. After seeing the 70% annual occupancy average since 2012, the vacation ownership mogul is ready to provide owners with a larger variety of accommodation options.

Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island is a stunning resort property located on North Phillips Island in beautiful Australia. This 65-acre property is a short distance to the ocean and surrounded by natural gardens and bushlands where guests love to wander and explore. They never have to go far for an incredible meal or drink, as the on-site Numbers Bar & Eatery is available for use. The property also has other amenities like two large outdoor swimming pools, a children’s pool for the little ones, a fitness center, two tennis courts, multiple outdoor BBQ and picnic areas, a children’s game room, biking and walking trails, a heated indoor lap pool, a sauna, and a spa.

Villa Improvements & Changes

Currently, Ramada Phillip Island has a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas with features like full kitchens, living areas, and multiple bathrooms. Starting in September 2019, all new and existing owner units will go through a serious transformation which will include upgraded kitchens and bathrooms. Deluxe and grand villas are going to also be refaced to heighten their already impressive luxury. These renovations are expected to be completed by the end of first quarter 2020.

Other Wyndham Resort Expansions in Asia Pacific

Not only is Wyndham committed to improving its presence on Phillip Island, but it also recently committed to its entry into Japan. Wyndham Vacation Clubs has entered into a purchase agreement with Resort Frontier Co., which is the management company for the popular Sundance Resort Club. The agreement will lead allow Wyndham Vacation Clubs Asia Pacific to manage Resort Frontier’s 16 resorts across Japan, be the administration for Sundance Resort Club, and service its club members. This will bring the divisions portfolio to 69 properties across Japan, Australia, Fiji, Thailand, Europe, Indonesia, Hawaii, and Europe.
