Club Wyndham Wanaka’s Multi-Million Dollar Refurbishment is Underway

Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific has just announced the start of its $2.2 million refurbishment project at the Club Wyndham Wanaka Resort in New Zealand. This project includes upgrades and changes to its 68 apartments and common facilities around the property. The renovations are due to be completed by the end of 2023.

As a part of Club Wyndham South Pacific’s rotation of upgrades across its 52 properties, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Wanaka has already received several upgrades in recent months to improve the quality of the vacations and their owners/visitors’ experiences. Some of the changes include:

• A refresh of the reception area
• Refreshes in lounge spaces
• Upgrades to the on-site gym
• Replaced gas barbecues with sustainable electric barbecues
• New outdoor furniture
• Updated pool heating systems to allow for winter use
• Updated washers and dryers
• A new keycard system that allows for sustainable bamboo keycards

Next on the list is a refurbishment of the property’s 68 apartments which includes fresh paint, as well as replacement of furniture, soft furnishings, and flooring.

As with all Wynham Destinations Asia Pacific renovations, the furniture they have decided to remove but is still in good shape is to be donated to several local nonprofit organizations and charities.
