Australia Timeshare

Enjoy the Outback AND the Uptown from Australia Timeshare Rentals

Australia Timeshares

From the mysteriously romantic outback, to the 21,262 miles of coastline, Australia is such a vastly diverse nation that there is something for every vacation personality. In fact, there is so much to do and see in Australia that you'll want to return again and again to ensure that you don't miss a thing.

If you're interested in experiencing the youthful, energetic vibe of Australia's cities, you might start in Sydney, where the architecture of the renowned Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are stunning; and the nightlife and arts culture are unparalleled.

You'll also want to explore the stark beauty of the opal-mining settlement, Coober Pedy, where over half the residents live in underground dugouts marked by opal-studded sandstone walls.

Perhaps you're more interested in immersing yourself in Australia's dozens of outdoor activities, you'll certainly have options. Bushwalk through a verdant rainforest; Surf, swim, or fish along the Sunshine Coast. Put on your scuba gear and explore almost 1300 miles (approximately 2000 kilometers) of coral reef from the Torres Straits through the Tropic of Capricorn.

Timeshare Ownership in Australia

Depending on the residence of the buyer, a timeshare lease in Australia will be either Deeded or Right to Use (RTU).

  • Deeded
Australian citizens can purchase Deeded timeshare either resale or directly from the resort. This deed must be prepared and processed through an Australian attorney who will be in contact with the resort directly. The lease will then be issued through the Australian government.

  • Right to Use
Non-citizens who buy timeshare either directly from the resort or from a resale agent will be issued a Right to Use lease. These leases will generally vary between 25-99 years based on specific report policies and/or owner contracts. Closing costs for Right to Use contracts in Australia are $499 through Transfer My Timeshare.

Some Things to Keep in Mind

  • In Australia the accepted currency is the AUD. To help you best prepare for your vacation, it's important to consider that, at the time of this writing, $1.00 AUD = $0.89 USD. As currency exchange rates fluctuate, we encourage you to check http://www.fms.treas.gov/intn.html#rates for the latest information.

  • English is the spoken language of Australia, though some dialects like Australian-English may make communication somewhat challenging.

  • Power supplies are as follows: Primary Voltage: 240; Frequency: 50. As such, you will need to find an appropriate converter.

  • If you're planning on renting a vehicle for your stay, there are a few things you should know about driving in Australia.

    • Drivers must keep to the left hand side of the road.

    • All vehicle occupants must utilize seat belts and child restraints.

    • Because Australia is home to such a wide variety of wild-animals, drivers should keep careful watch while on the road.

There are Hundreds of Timeshares for Sale in Australia

Because you have so many accommodation options in Australia, you'll want to take some time determining which is right for you and your family. Consider your vacation lifestyle. Would you prefer a quiet afternoon lounging on the shores of the Gold Coast to a day spent cavorting through the city? Is a daylong wildlife expedition your idea of exciting vacation fodder? Your preferred activities will help dictate where you should buy timeshare.

Resorts like Cedar Lake Country Club and Korora Bay Village cater to both the spirit of the outdoorsman (with activities like bushwalking, horseback riding and rainforest expeditions) and the desires of those looking for a more luxurious vacation (spas, saunas and world-class shopping), making them excellent choices for family or group vacations.

If you're interested in purchasing a timeshare resale, but aren't yet sure where you'd feel most comfortable, consider renting Australia timeshare first. Renting affords many of the same benefits as ownership (like reduced rates and well-appointed units) without any long-term commitment. Consider Australia timeshare rentals or timeshare resales for a lifetime of exciting vacations down under.
