DVC Price Increase Coming in 2024

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a top-rated vacation ownership program that offers a magical portfolio of resorts in Florida, California, South Carolina, and Hawaii.

Members of the Disney Vacation Club own DVC points that allow them to easily and flexibly book vacations within the resort network. To become a DVC member, you can purchase points with a set price per point. This price has changed over the year, and on January 30, 2024, that price is set to increase at select resorts.

How Much Do DVC Points Cost?

Currently, DVC points cost $217 per point. The price is set to increase to $225 per point at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Aulani.

Additionally, for the newest DVC Resort, the Villas at Disneyland Hotel, the DVC points cost is rising from $230 to $239. Both of these changes will go into effect on January 30, 2024.

The new DVC price reflects current existing resorts within the network, not upcoming resorts such as the new tower coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or the new Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Both of these properties are set to open in summer 2024.

If you currently own points at these resorts and want to purchase more, now is the time to do so! If you are looking to become a new member and want to enjoy all the member benefits, Disney Vacation Club requires you to have at least 150 points purchases directly from Disney.

As a member or a prospective member, it’s important to stay on top of price changes and budget appropriately. That being said, if you are interested in buying at either one of the above-mentioned resorts, you may want to purchase before the end of January 2024 to save money on ownership. Or, you can always purchase on the secondary market and save thousands on ownership. Shop Disney Vacation Club timeshares for sale to be a part of this magical club for less!

If the price increase pushes you to unload your DVC timeshare, we can help. Disney’s Right of First Refusal is currently not very active, meaning they are unlikely to buy your contract back. Your best chance to get rid of your unwanted timeshare is to sell on the secondary market. Contact us for assistance with selling your Disney timeshare today!
